Abstract
Blue LEDs combined with color‑converting polymer layers represent a promising route for display applications. However, conventional physical blending of luminophores into a monomer matrix suffers from aggregation and concentration quenching, which drastically reduce emission efficiency1,2. In this work, a covalent immobilization strategy is proposed to solve this problem. Symmetric luminophores bearing two vinyl groups were synthesized and chemically incorporated into a siloxane oligomer backbone via UV‑initiated thiol‑ene photopolymerization. The vinyl groups not only anchor the dye but also act as crosslinkers, ensuring molecular‑level dispersion and suppressing aggregation. The resulting UV‑curable composites exhibit excellent optical transparency and intense green or red‑orange photoluminescence.
